Wipro Techno Centre (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a research and development company initially owned by OKI Electric Industry Co. Ltd - Japan's very first telecommunications manufacturer. With effect from 1st October 2007, the company has been restructured as a WIPRO LIMITED GROUP COMPANY through strategic partnership between OKI and WIPRO.
Wipro Techno Centre (previously known as OKI Techno Centre) was set up in June 1996. Our aim is to promote progress in society and to enhance the quality of life. To achieve those goals, Wipro Techno Centre devotes itself to R & D in wireless digital communication systems and related software and hardware devices.
In April 2003, Wipro Techno Centre started the new business scheme as an RF System Solution Provider. We strive to support customers world-wide using our efficient design know-how and IPs for RF systems, created through joint effort with key technological partners in Singapore. Wipro Techno Centre aims to contribute to the Ubiquitous Networking Society by way of providing an assortment of RF solutions - from IP & Macro to chip level products.
Wipro Techno Centre has been developing key technologies such as CMOS RF circuits and designs, and IPs and products such as Bluetooth RF Transceivers, LSI modems for 3G/WCDMA, WLAN, UWB, Firmware and RF System Verification Environments.
